Got the Lighthouse all tented in on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Nothing cool to look at while they do this part of the project :-(

The Historic Grosse Ile Lighthouse Renovation Project has been undertaken to restore the North Channel Front Range light. Baird and Lowler Building Co. was hired by the Township of Grosse Ile, through the coordination of Smay Trombley Architecture, the Grosse Ile Historical Society, and the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office to complete this project.
